Scholarship Description: The Wales Institute of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (WIMCS) and Cardiff University invite applications for three one-year Fellowships, to be held at Cardiff University, forming the core of a WIMCS research programme supported by the Leverhulme Trust. The purpose of these positions is to carry out research in the general area of dissipative and non-selfadjoint spectral theory, in particular
* homogenization problems for dissipative elliptic PDEs;
* numerical methods for dissipative and non-selfadjoint spectral problems;
* general theory of dissipative operators.
